Protein Quantification

Protein quantification is widely applied in biochemistry and life sciences researches including disease marker screening, biological mechanism research, drug target research, special function protein screening and so on. Precise quantitative analysis of protein plays a very important role in revealing protein function, regulation mechanism and interaction of proteins. According to the difference of technologies, they were divided into iTRAQ / TMT labeled protein quantification and label free protein quantification.

Project Advice

The idea of protein quantification in most situations aims to obtain the protein expression changes under different treatments or physiological states to explore the mechanism of expression differences. For proteomics research, the more biological repeats, the more accurate the results are. It is generally recommended that the number of biological repeats should not be less than 3, and more than 6 for field samples.
